Campsite Terms and Conditions
We ask you to have respect for each other, the area and the
environment. We want you to feel at home and enjoy your stay with
us at Little Ropers Campsite.
All cars are left at the farm; there is no vehicle access to site.
We are a family friendly site as well as an escape for couples and
solo campers; we ask that you keep noise to a minimum after
10pm and before 8am.
Noisy campers will be asked to leave, this includes noisy children.
Music that can be heard by other campers is not permitted on site.
Generators are not permitted on site.
We do not allow dogs or other pets on site.
We do not allow large groups or stag/hen parties on site.
We ask that you respect the wildlife on the campsite and farm
including all flora and fauna and their habitats. This includes trees
in the woodland – no sawing, carving, hacking or graffiti please -
any damage must be paid for at the discretion of the campsite
owners.
Please only burn wood purchased from the farm; do not take
wood from the woodland, this is part of the natural habitat. Do
not bring wood onto site to burn, we only allow our sourced
firewood due to tree disease protection. Campfires should not be
left unattended. Fire buckets are placed on each pitch for
extinguishing fires. Site your tent where sparks will not land on it.
Do not burn the logs which are provided as seating.
There are potential hazards on site: these include electric wire
cattle fencing around fields, livestock, uneven ground, rabbit /
badger holes, the swing, trees and open campfires. It is essential
that children are supervised at all times.
You are welcome to walk around areas of the farm following the
walk maps available; as long as you keep to field edges and no
crops (which include grass) are harmed. Please be aware some
fields may contain livestock at certain times.
Please be aware we are primarily a working farm, at some times of
year there may be noise disruption from machinery working around
the farmyard or in the fields. All members of the public must abide
by safety signs put in place and children must be accompanied by
an adult at the farm at all times. This is for your own safety.
Smoking is not permitted in the site toilet or washroom. We ask you
to pick up and dispose of any cigarette ends. All rubbish should be
sorted and disposed of in the rubbish and re-cycling bins provided
at the farm near the car park or taken home.
Guests who do not respect the above or who cause
disturbance to other visitors will be asked to leave.
We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to your property
during your stay.
Please be aware that camping in woodland is a risk, we assess the
trees regularly and remove any dead or broken branches from trees
around the pitches. You are camping at your own risk. We reserve
the right to close the site in high winds for your own safety.
24hour CCTV recording is in operation at the farm and within the
campsite shop.
